First Class Broadcasting
Meet Darvio Morrow, a multifaceted entrepreneur, producer, creator, and CEO of First Class Broadcasting (FCB) Entertainment, proudly lending his expertise to the WCTU Cleveland 13 News Advisory Board. Renowned as "The Kingpin," Darvio is a seasoned on-air personality and co-host of The Outlaws Radio Show on iHeartRadio.
With nearly two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, Darvio has made indelible marks in music, radio, and journalism. His journey includes influential roles at Radio One, ESPN Radio Cleveland, Salem Media Group, and more. As the founder of Untouchable Clique Entertainment (now part of FCB Records Group), Darvio secured a digital distribution deal with Sony Music-owned "The Orchard." Today, FCB Records Group thrives with multiple artists across genres, encompassing Untouchable Clique Entertainment, FCB Records, and the FCB Music Publishing Group (ASCAP).
Darvio's radio career began in 2005 with "Tha Goodfellaz," a late-night radio show on Sportstalk Cleveland, evolving into the creation of First Class Hip-Hop, a groundbreaking digital radio station. A pioneer in the digital radio genre in Cleveland, Darvio's station garnered awards, broke records, and even served as the radio home for the former Cleveland City Stars soccer team. "The Hott Spott," a show co-produced and syndicated by Darvio, boasted over 1 million weekly listeners at its peak.
Venturing into politics, Darvio managed campaigns and served as the campaign manager for the "Phyllis Crespo for Cuyahoga County Council" campaign in 2010. Concurrently, he delved into opinion journalism, contributing musings on politics, music, and pop culture for various outlets.
Returning full-time to the entertainment industry in 2011, Darvio founded "Musera Radio," a group of digital radio stations that became some of the largest independently owned stations in the country. His journey led to co-hosting The Avenue Radio Show on Salem Media Group-owned WHK-AM and contributing to ESPN Radio Cleveland. In 2014, Darvio launched WFCBRadio.com, growing into the largest independently owned group of stations before Live365's closure in 2016.
Today, Darvio co-creates and co-hosts The Outlaws Radio Show on iHeartRadio, while overseeing the FCB Radio Network, propelling shows into national syndication. A true maven of entertainment, radio, music, and politics, Darvio Morrow infuses passion, experience, and unmistakable "swag" into every project he undertakes, making him an invaluable asset to the Cleveland 13 News Advisory Board.
