Brunswick Celebrates St. Patrick's Day Early with Charity Kick-Off, Dinner and Dancing
BRUNSWICK, OH - Saint Ambrose Catholic Parish recently hosted its annual St. Patrick's Day celebration at Hilkert Hall, an event that not only heralded the festive season but also supported a heartfelt cause. The gathering was a vivid display of culture, charity, and the spirit of community, marking a memorable occasion in the lead-up to St. Patrick's Day.
This year's festivities were made even more special by the children of the Academy of Irish Dance Company out of Strongsville, which presented skilled performances of Irish dancing. Attendees were treated to an authentic experience of Ireland's rich culture and traditions, brought to life in their own backyard.
The event's triumph was significantly bolstered by the generous sponsorships from the Hooley House and FIRE 45 Grille + Social. These local favorites went above and beyond by donating all food and beverages, ensuring that every dollar raised directly benefited the expansion of the Catholic Works of Mercy Outreach Center.
Richie Reece, owner of Hooley House, reflected on their participation. "It's really important for us to be involved in the community...make sure we're taking care of others", he said. "We're very blessed to have the locations that we do, and we just want to be able to share and do our part.", Reece added. This sentiment was echoed throughout the event, showcasing the local businesses' commitment to giving back to the community.
Cleveland's Funkology Band added even more to the celebration with live music that contributed to an atmosphere of joy and communal bond, making the event unforgettable.
The celebration at Saint Ambrose Catholic Parish went beyond mere festivity; it was a meaningful endeavor that brought the Brunswick, and surrounding communities closer; all while fostering a spirit of charity and cultural appreciation.
