CLEVELAND, OH - Husband-and-wife team, Bob and Kristin Barnes, transformed their love for chocolate into a flourishing small business. The story of Sweet Bean began with a Groupon experience that ignited Kristin's passion for chocolate making. A day spent under the tutelage of a seasoned chocolatier opened her eyes to the art of tempering and molding chocolate, a moment of revelation that Bob supported by gifting her the necessary tools to embark on this sweet journey.
Bob's transition from coffee roasting enthusiast to craft chocolate maker was seamless, applying his knowledge of bean selection and flavor development to cacao beans.
