From Small Dreams to Sweet Success, White Flower Cake Shoppe Explored

BEACHWOOD - White Flower Cake Shoppe, located in Northeast Ohio, has become a household name thanks to its founders, Lauren Bozich and Marianne Carroll. They met in Junior High in the 7th grade and quickly became friends; but their real journey began in high school, where they worked at Dairy Queen and discovered a passion for cake decorating.

After attending separate art colleges, they started their home-based custom cake business, which grew quickly through word of mouth. In 2006, they opened The White Flower Cake Shoppe, specializing in custom wedding cakes and cakes for all occasions.

Since then, White Flower has appeared on Food Network Challenges and was chosen as one of four bakeries featured on an entire 9-episode season of WE TV's Amazing Wedding Cakes.

In 2014, they opened a second location in Solon, Ohio, and launched an online school of decorating and store offering worldwide shipping of cake decorating supplies and kits. They have also created custom cakes for prestigious clients such as LeBron James, Shark Tank's Lori Grenier, and the Cleveland Art Museum.

Gremi, on his visit to White Flower, got to witness firsthand the artistry and creativity that goes into every cake. Lauren not only shared the history of White Flower but also allowed Gremi to get creative in the kitchen, making custom treats from scratch. In honor of Gremi's late Grandma Sharon, Lauren even put his face into the Carrot Cake Cupcake he just made, making for a sweet and unforgettable moment.

With their original Beachwood location moving to the Eton Collection soon, White Flower is set to continue growing and thriving. From humble beginnings to worldwide fame, the success of White Flower Cake Shoppe is a testament to the determination and hard work of its founders, their team, and their passion for buttercream and cake decorating.
