CLEVELAND, OH — As Spring Break approaches, families across Northeast Ohio are looking for fun, affordable ways to spend quality time together. Jayda’s Adventures, a local guide aimed at helping families explore the region, released a comprehensive list of activities that includes free and discounted options tailored to kids, teens, and parents alike.
“There’s so much to explore right in our own backyard without spending a fortune,” Jayda’s Adventures shared in its latest release. “From playgrounds and libraries to escape rooms and indoor fun parks, there’s truly something for every age and interest.”
Families looking to enjoy the outdoors can visit several area playgrounds, including Neura Park in Brunswick, Lakewood Park, Lindsey Family Play Space at Edgewater Park, Coe Lake in Berea, Every Child’s Playground in Avon, and Recreation Center Park in Westlake. Nature lovers can also explore Rocky River Nature Center, Lake Erie Nature & Science Center in Bay Village, and Miller Nature Preserve in Avon, which offer interactive exhibits and free family programs.
Public libraries are also highlighted as a go-to destination, with branches in North Olmsted, Westlake, Fairview Park, Downtown Cleveland, and Avon’s Discovery Works offering unique play spaces and free events for all age groups.
For indoor excitement, Main Event offers two budget-friendly deals. On Mondays after 4 p.m., families can purchase an unlimited activities pass for $12.99, with an optional arcade game card for another $12.99. During weekdays before noon, their “Yes Day Combo” includes unlimited attractions and a $10 arcade card. Escape room fans can use promo code SPRING20 at Perplexity Games in Cleveland for $20 off bookings of four or more throughout April.
Moviegoers can enjoy Dolby sound and refillable drinks at Phoenix Theaters inside Great Northern Mall, where adult tickets are just $10. A printable coupon from their website offers a free small popcorn with any purchase, with an optional upgrade to a large and unlimited refills for just $2.
Scene 75 in Brunswick, featuring attractions such as bumper cars, mini golf, and laser tag, is offering two Spring Break deals. The “Spring into Fun” day pass is available Monday through Friday for $29.99, while a one-time Spring Break Pass grants unlimited access to attractions through April 6.
Urban Air is another destination with extensive activities including ziplining, rope courses, trampolines, and go-karts. Their monthly pass offers unlimited platinum access, a slice of pizza, and a snack each visit for $18.99. Parents can join the fun with a $3.99 monthly pass, designed to pay for itself in a single visit.
“There’s no need to travel far or break the bank to have a memorable Spring Break,” Jayda’s Adventures noted. “With a little planning, the best experiences are just around the corner.”
