Tower City Center Offering Magical Holiday Experiences for Families; Some at No Cost

CLEVELAND, OHIO – Tower City Center has transformed into a winter wonderland this holiday season, offering a wide range of free and family-friendly events through December. From immersive activities like sock skating and a VR sleigh ride to festive attractions such as Bruce the Talking Spruce and the dazzling Snow Show, visitors can embrace the holiday spirit at this downtown Cleveland hub.

“This is one of the most magical times of the year, and Tower City is pulling out all the stops to create unforgettable experiences for families,” said one customer outside of Milk and Honey while we had a fun caffeinated moment with Elie Haoui, co-owner of Milk & Honey, a café offering specialty drinks and desserts within Tower City.

Highlights include Bruce the Spruce’s Forest, where guests are greeted by a talking tree in an enchanting woodland, and the Snow Show, featuring indoor snowfall, music, and special lighting effects at the Skylight Concourse. Both attractions run on weekends from November 30 to December 22.

The Skylight Concourse also hosts the vibrant 8-foot "Christmas Story"-inspired slide, open daily through December 31, and a sock skating rink that mimics the feel of real ice without the chill, available on Saturdays and Sundays. Additionally, visitors can hop aboard a VR sleigh ride that takes them on a simulated flight around the world.

Milk & Honey adds to the festivities with its signature holiday drinks. Our team got to sample two popular offerings while exploring Tower City. “It’s a perfect stop to warm up and take in the festive atmosphere,” Haoui noted.

Families can also enjoy photo opportunities with illuminated décor, including two towering toy soldiers and an illuminated frame, or visit Mr. Jingeling, a local holiday favorite, at his Treasure House of Toys Castle. Appearances run Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.

For a hands-on adventure, Kringle’s Inventionasium invites guests to a STEM-accredited experience in a top-secret toy lab. Tickets and details are available at www.MrKringle.com.

Tower City’s activities aim to bring holiday cheer to Clevelanders of all ages, offering something for everyone in a festive downtown setting.
